Theme: Presiding – The Art of Leading the People of God in Public Prayer
Presiding at worship is a prime ministry of the Ordained, but also for the Lay Minister, tasked with leading people in prayer, celebrating the Funeral Rites, leading Morning or Evening Prayer. At Maynooth College, the day will explore the theology underlining the ministry and explore our practice at present but into a future where much will be sought from all who gather to worship.
Venue: Renehan Hall, St Patrick’s College Maynooth.
Registration at 10.30am; aim to finish by 5.00pm.
