At a meeting of the Diocesan College of Consulters on Tuesday 2 August, Canon Michael McLoughlin, the Parish Priest of Moycullen, was elected as Diocesan Administrator for the Dioceses of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora. He takes up this responsibility immediately.

Fr. Michael Conway on "Mercy and the underdeveloped heart" Thursday 25th February @ 7.30p.m. To commemorate the Year of Mercy as designated by Pope Francis the Pastoral Centre is offering a series of talks during Lent.
Led by Charlie Davy, SJ & Moira McDowall, RLR this is a day for past participants of our diocesan training course as well as those who have the desire to become involved in RCIA or baptismal programmes in their parish.
Teresa O’Donoghue, Doolin, Co. Clare, was recently awarded a papal Benemerenti Medal in recognition of her many decades of service to the Lord and to his community. She is pictured here with Fr Conor Cunninham.
This is a group for people affected by the drug/alcohol use of family or friends. It offers time and space to meet people in a similar situation and find new ways to cope. The group is open to anyone over the age of 18. It is a confidential and supportive space.
An Evening of Sung Prayer for all the Faithful Departed takes in Galway Cathedral:

The 2016 International Eucharistic Congress takes place in Cebu in the Philippines next January. Joe Walsh Tours is offering packages to those interested in attending.
Towards Peace is a National Initiative of the Episcopal Conference recently set up to help survivors of sexual abuse by Church personnel. It is a spiritual support service for survivors that are interested in engaging with their faith.

Day for Parish Pastoral Councils… “Equipping Parish Pastoral Councils for Mission”… January 25th 2014, Menlo Park Hotel.
Bereavement Support Group for 8-10 people will be offered in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Arus de Brun, Newtownsmith in Autumn 2014. The group will run for 8 weeks and will be facilitated by professional personnel.
