"Looking for something more out of life?"
Not more noise. Not more distraction. Something deeper. Something that lasts.
Bishop Michael puts it plainly:
“With the gift of faith, [the priesthood] is not only a beautiful life but an entirely possible life.”
We live in a world that tells you to blend in, chase comfort, follow the crowd. But what if you were made for more? What if the quiet pull you feel — the idea you keep pushing away — is actually real?
“It is God who stirs up in the human heart this desire to live life as a priest. To live life in a more meaningful way.”
The priesthood isn’t a career. It’s a call. It’s a life poured out for others — a life of mission, sacrifice, joy, brotherhood, and deep trust in God. It’s not easy. But it’s not supposed to be.
This is the path for those who don’t want to settle.
“In a world where so many are willing to settle, go with the flow – at times real living and real life is to be found in the opposite direction.”
Being a priest means standing with people at their highest and lowest moments. Preaching the Gospel. Forgiving sins. Bringing Christ into lives that have forgotten Him. It’s real. It matters. And it changes you.
Still think it's impossible? Listen again:
“If God stirs up this desire, we can be confident that He helps us respond to it. He befriends those who say ‘yes’. He walks with them through the ups and downs of their priestly ministry.”
This is not for someone else. This might be for you.
Stop waiting for a perfect sign. The desire you feel might be the sign.
Ask the question. Start the conversation.
