The occasion of a child's First Holy Communion is a wonderful opportunity for parents to deepen and reinvigorate their own faith. It can also be a graced moment of renewal for the broader parish community.

In preparation for hosting the Diocesan Stand 399 at the National Ploughing Championships, Bishop Denis Nulty (Kildare & Leighlin diocese) is inviting people all around the country to choose their favourite prayer, perhaps a prayer learnt at their mother’s knee or handed down ó ghlúin go glúi

You Shall Be My Witness is a progamme designed to offer resources to members of the parish team that will enable them to encourage, challenge and invite parents to beccome more actively involved in the preparation for Confirmation.

Our central aim is to provide retreats for students from secondary schools across the diocese. In facilitating these days of reflection, we aim to offer an experience which will lead to a personal encounter with Christ.

Congratulations to Indira Kelly from Seamount College, Kinvara, who won the Inaugural Sr Sarah Clarke Award for her project analysing the fast fashion industry using the tenets of Catholic social teaching.
