Relics of St Charbel to visit Galway Cathedral

The relics of Saint Charbel, a Maronite Monk from Lebanon who has many miracles attributed to his intercession, will visit Galway Cathedral on Sunday 29 January from 3.00pm–5.30pm. There will be an opportunity for private prayer and to receive an individual blessing. All welcome!

Pedestrian bridge lift

A new pedestrian and cycle bridge was lowered into place south of the Salmon Weir Bridge in the early hours of 12 December. The main span was constructed on-site in recent weeks in the car park at Galway Cathedral.
